RUCANS : PaeDalna

            So I'm trying to draw the Rùcans with armor on and their wide ears folded down, yes quite weird looking, Rùcans with their ears folded down. I'm trying to create an armor design where it's practical and compact, but their ears being up there would probably be an inconvenience for them. Their ears are exposed in terms of visibility and vulnerability.

            Visibility. As in whenever they're trying to take cover or hide from a threat, their ears would still be visible exposing their location, making them vulnerable.

            And vulnerability. As in their ears are exposed to damage from blasters or any other weaponries (Actually, looking at their armor now, they're pretty exposed in general)

            I'm trying to draw their ears folded back for days and I can't get the look right. I'm trying to make them fierce, heroic, by updating their armory and design and by folding their ears back for practicality, but whenever I fold their ears back, I keep drawing them like shy poodle woodles who wants to get rubbed on the belly.

            I know I'm "known" to draw cute interpretations of characters, *cough* Muss... Four times...(three of those aren't cute) *cough*, but I want to take it up a notch. But man, designing characters is hard (Especially creating your own).

            So... I wonder what's your interpretation of this design is, maybe you could make it work?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ draw some sketches for inspiration I'm 10% finished with this project, the full project would be a 80-90s  a e s t h e t i c   styled anime poster of the Rùcans in Japanese inspired by Akira, Kill la Kill, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gundam, or others. It would (probably) be cool thanks.
